The RDP Galvanized Cone Top Chimney Cap is a standard replacement rain cap. It is used as an all-weather seamless chimney cap to keep rain and snow from getting down the chimney pipe. This product is designed to be mounted over single wall pipe and comes with a draw bolt collar for a secure fit.
The RDP Galvanized Cone Top Chimney Cap is quality constructed from heavy-duty 28-gauge galvanized steel. It is available in pipe sizes ranging from 3 inch to 16 inch, with the total cap height ranging from 5-1/4 inch to 10 inch. Please refer to the specification sheet for more details. Comes with a 1-year warranty against product defects and workmanship.
The adjustable collar will only provide approximately 1/8 inch of play for tightening to the appropriate pipe size. It is not designed to expand to accommodate different pipe sizes or double/triple wall pipe sizes. NOT designed to fit 1/8”, 1/4”, 1/2”, etc. The 16-inch chimney cap does not come with adjustable collar, fixed only.

Unfortunately, these are meant to only be used on size listed, so it’s not recommended the CT7 is used on any other size than a 7″ diameter pipe.
